honestly,,J.Cole is better. Drake can rap,,but he just talks about money,,girls,,stuff in that area. listen to Return of Simba by J.Cole. or Killers by J.Cole. his songs tell STORIES. thats what makes him better.. like J.Cole’s wordplay is in my opinion second only to Eminem…Drakes is kinda basic and he rides off lil wayne TOO much. its funny how girls eeither think drake is hot as fuck or ugly as fuck kinda confusing? Girls stop commenting on looks, ur just proving the stereotype u dont hav any taste in music. Im kinda biased cuz cole is one o my favorite rappers all time but he overall is better than drake. lyrically cole, production wise j cole cuz drizzy doesnt make his. cole and drake are both NEEDED in the game rite now though without a doubt. drake is prety dope also and im not saying cole is head and shoulders over drake but by a hair at least.

I came onto J.Cole WAY late and this dude from my hood. He claps Drake hands down. I don’t even listen to radio anymore because all they play is Drake. Liked him when he first came out but every song he does sounds the same. Sounds like he did one 5 hour track and cuts bits and pieces into a new beat. How many times I gotta hear Drake say ‘Umm’ -long ass pause- and then start to rhyme or sing.

I hear J.Cole and all of the sudden it’s the early 90′s and I’m a teen again. I’m guessing most of you are too young since you riding with Drake. Now don’t get me wrong everyone jams to commercial ‘hip-hop’ in the club. And hard core rappers can make their club joints. But Drake is NOT a hard core rapper. You shouldn’t even be comparing the two. That’s like T-Pain VS Eminem lol.

Foreal if you haven’t heard anything by J.Cole, go to youtube and search him up. He’s going to be a legend regardless of it he blows up. The fans in hip hop are no longer the same. They claim they want real hip hop but they singing praises for Drake. And if someone like J.Cole come along suddenly he not famous enough and you don’t like him because you can’t play him on the radio. Too Deep my ass. Yall on that level with Drake while us real hip hop heads on the that level with J.Cole.

J.Cole is the better rapper, that’s just the way it is. He is actually rapping, while Drake is more into “rap”/pop music…I see several people on this thread saying Drake is better although they haven’t even listened to J.Cole…

Only thing Drake has on Cole is time…but its all about what type of rap u like…u want commercial–Drake….u want that real hiphop(actually talkin bout something)–Cole…B4 Drake got wit YMCMB he was trash(and its been rumored that others write his lyris…J.Cole doesnt even have an album out and he startin to get big! and its beyond doubt that he writes his own music…J.Cole is not an ignorant man’s rapper(he has the “Lupe talent” where he can “cleverly align” his word choice and double meaning)…”A lil nigga from the ville, that real niggas can feel”…i guess you can tell from all of this i think J.Cole is the better rapper…
